What happens if I switch from Premium back to Free?
Your tackle and fishing records are not deleted. If your account exceeds the Free plan’s limits, TackleCache keeps your information safely stored while restricting features and records above those limits. You can upgrade again later to restore full Premium access. You can also export your complete tackle inventory on the Free plan because it is your information.
Can I export my complete tackle inventory?
Yes. Free and Premium clients can export their complete tackle inventory to a CSV spreadsheet at any time. The file can be opened with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, and other spreadsheet applications.
What is included in the Free tier?
Free includes one inventory with up to 25 items, adding and editing items, barcode scanning, editable package photo recognition, custom barcode generation, quantities, default low-stock alerts, basic Trip Mode and history, search and sorting, spreadsheet export, and account controls.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds unlimited items, multiple inventories and transfers, container management, scoped search, advanced sorting, custom low-stock thresholds, full Top 5 community rankings, deeper monthly and yearly analytics, lake and date-range trip data, detailed trip views, and post-trip gear recommendations.
How much does Premium cost?
TackleCache Premium costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
Can TackleCache scan fishing tackle barcodes?
Yes. When a commercial barcode is recognized, TackleCache can use its corresponding product information. If it is new, photograph the front or back of the packaging and review or edit the suggested details before saving.
Can I create barcodes for homemade tackle?
Yes. Generate a custom number and barcode for homemade, modified, or personal tackle that does not have a retail barcode. This works well for poured plastics, tied jigs, flies, custom-painted hard baits, and other personal creations.
Can I organize tackle by box, bag, boat, or garage?
Yes. Free provides one inventory or location. Premium adds multiple inventories and containers so you can organize tackle by boat, garage, bag, box, bin, or another location and transfer gear between them.
Can TackleCache show what works on a particular lake?
Premium trip analytics let you review gear, adjustments, catches, and bait history by lake and selected date range. Monthly and yearly views help reveal patterns from your own fishing history.
Is TackleCache available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. TackleCache is available for iPhone and iPad through the Apple App Store and for Android through Google Play.
